The Chainsaw Proctologists edged the Streator Reds in 10 innings at the
ballpark by the score of 4 to 3.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. Chainsaw won the hard fought contest in
the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Blake Dewitt delivered a single.
Aaron Hill stepped up to the plate and he delivered a one-base hit. Marcus
Thames then hit a deep fly. Chainsaw managed 10 hits in their victory.
The win went to Dallas Braden(1-3) who allowed no runs in 3 innings. Braden
was helped out by Chan Ho Park who recorded his 3rd save. Rafael
Betancourt(1-4) suffered the loss in relief.
With this win, Chainsaw has a 18-39 record. They have been 4-6 lately. Ralph
Madara was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing
games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
